Our new Large Octagonal Gold Eglomise 48"  Mirror is a big 47.74" symmetrical Octagon shape with a deep 3  dimensional profile. The special finish on this item utilizes an old French Finishing Technique of Antiquing the reverse of the glass or mirror frame known as the art of “Verre Eglomise” meaning gilded, a process whereby the reverse side of a pane of glass is gilded with gold or silver leaf using special adhesives that further enhance the reflective affect. The result is an antique like reflective surface that creates a luxurious elegance, sophisticated and subtle, that adds a luxurious elegance to any space. It is Hand Made and Hand Crafted in Indonesia by artists skilled in the French Art of “Verre Eglomise”
